old gold, re-worked into new treasures!
a wonderful customer brought in some of his dads old gold jewelry...2 wedding bands, a gents diamond ring, a stick pin and an emblematic pin...3 diamonds were available for new designs. he wanted a new ring, with heavy texture and a little bit out of the ordinary...i incorporated the 2 bands, with texture, for an asymmetrical wave design...he wanted all the diamonds in a pendant for his wife...she mentioned a design she liked, an elongated triangle...this is what we came up with...both were thrilled with the outcome...🌀

an old friend called to speak with me about his wifes upcoming "significant birthday"...since he lived about half way across the country, and i haven't met his wife, we spoke at length about her, and her lifes work...she is a cellist...what struck me most in our conversations was his deep and abiding love and pride for his wife...we decided on the infinity symbol, incorporating the "f holes" that are on the cello, to create this piece...and of course diamonds are always a welcome addition to any piece! we also decided on an adjustable chain so she can wear it at any length to suit her needs...this was a labor of love, for all!
